Library Theme Bags for Educators

The Theme Bag Collection helps address the needs of preschool and early elementary teachers who wish to share theme-based stories and activities with their students by providing a package complete with up to 15 high-quality picture books and at least one parent/teacher guide. Many bags also contain items to further enhance the story experience such at puppets, flannelboard pieces, or other manipulatives.

Most theme bags are designed for children in preschool through early elementary school. Bags particularly suited to a specific age will be labeled accordingly.

CLP Theme Bags are available to teachers, home school educators and daycare providers with a valid library card. The theme bag collections may be borrowed for 3 weeks. Reserves may be placed on them so the theme bag can be picked up at your local library branch and they may be returned to any library.
